ISSUE OF AN AUTHORISATION TO USE

For the Serres - La Batie Montsaléon aerodrome

VALID FROM 4 JULY 2025

YOU MUST HAVE RECEIVED THE VALIDATED AUTHORISATION BEFORE USING THE AERODROME

YOU MUST RENEW THE AUTHORISATION EACH YEAR

Dear friends of the Serres - La Batie Montsaléon airfield!

From 30 June 2025, the authorities have changed the status of the airfield, which will affect the way it is used.

The aerodrome no longer has the status of an approved aerodrome for restricted use and has reverted to its original status as a private aerodrome. This makes it easier to organise and operate.

From now on, all glider, light aircraft and microlight pilots will be considered as guests of the owner and must be registered on the legal list, along with their aircraft, via this website.

This guest list is kept available to the aviation authorities and the police.

In practice:

- Each pilot and each aircraft must be registered on this list.

- Following registration on this computer portal, the authorisation will be returned by e-mail to the applicant, who is responsible for printing it out and keeping it with his pilot's documents so that he can present it if necessary to the manager or the authorities (e.g. Gendarmerie des Transports Aériens).

- Drivers are responsible for preventing their vehicles from colliding with aircraft.

- Aircraft always have priority over anyone travelling in a vehicle or on foot. The driver must ensure that there are no aircraft before entering the runway.

- In accordance with the regulations, the owner of the airfield keeps lists of persons and aircraft that have been granted authorisation to use the airfield.

- The owner-manager reserves the right to suspend authorisations in the event of failure to comply with instructions. Unidentified persons and vehicles will not be authorised to enter the runway.

- As a licence holder, you may bring other people onto the airfield, but you are responsible for the people accompanying you. Children under the age of 14 are only allowed on the aerodrome if accompanied by an authorised and responsible person. Dogs are prohibited on the runway and in the glider and aircraft parking areas, and must be kept on a lead elsewhere.

- The airfield is divided into a manoeuvring area (runway), a taxiway area (car parks, taxiways) and a "city side" area, such as the campsite or restaurant. Because there is no physical separation, restaurant customers and campsite occupants must pay particular attention to this area.

Thank you for your understanding.
